: cdcb Youthbuild supports youth ages 16-24 who have become disengaged from the school system. Through our program, students are able to obtain their GED certification and earn an industry recognized certificate in Construction, CNC Machining, or Welding free of charge. These certifications prepare students to enter the workforce with a high paying job, or to continue their education by earning more specialized certifications or attending an institution of higher learning.
cdcb helps first time homebuyers realize their goal of homeownership by providing Down Payment Assistance. This assistance ensures that families’ monthly mortgage payment is manageable for their monthly budget.
Our housing counseling program prepares families and individuals for homeownership by providing financial literacy courses, providing a work plan for credit repair and savings building, promoting estate planning, and preparing homebuyers for the responsibilities of homeownership.
cdcb provides residents services to all of our tenants. These services are focused on health and wellness promotion, after-school programming for school age children, events designed to foster community building and interaction amongst residents, financial literacy courses, and monthly food pantries.
We're seeking to pre-qualify responsible general contractors, subcontractors, and specialty trade contractors to participate in its New Construction-Finish Out Program for a minimum of 20 housing units.
