(up to 20 years old)
YouthBuild Brownsville provides young people with comprehensive education and workforce development through two pathways:
• High School Program (Grades 9–12, up to age 20)
• GED & Career Pathway Program (Ages 16–24)
Students in both pathways have the opportunity to earn a high school diploma or GED while gaining industry-recognized certifications in skilled trades, including CNC manufacturing, construction, carpentry, and welding.

Beyond academics and technical training, YouthBuild emphasizes leadership development, community service, and paid, hands-on work experience. Participants receive a training stipend, internships and/or apprenticeships, classroom uniforms, work gear, resume development support, and a range of wraparound supportive services designed to remove barriers to success.
Many graduates qualify for college scholarships and/or secure employment upon completion of the program.At its core, YouthBuild Brownsville prepares students for sustainable careers and postsecondary success through real-world experience, job readiness training, and meaningful industry connections.
